Clorox Bathroom Cleaner To The Rescue!

Clorox bathroom cleaner is a versatile cleaning product that can be used to keep you bathroom looking clean, fresh and shining. In addition it will prevent the growth of mold, mildew, bacteria and fungus that can cause health problems if left unchecked.

Clorox bathroom cleaner is different from many products in that it does not contain bleach so is safe to use on most the surfaces in your bathroom.

It is always recommend to test a small area of the surface you will be cleaning for the first time. Generally test under the lip of the sink to test the countertop, or inside the cupboard to test the cabinet.

Clorox bathroom is not recommended for use on varnished wood, natural marble or brass as it can cause discolorations. This cleaner works on:

  • Soap scum
  • Dirt
  • Hard water residue
  • Mold and mildew
  • Bacteria

Clorox cleaner, just like all cleaners, works best on surfaces that are mildly to moderately soiled or stained. For very heavily stained or dirty bathrooms there may need to be more than one application of the cleaning product.

Generally to use Clorox Bathroom cleaner simply spray the cleaner using the foam setting on the surface. Keep the nozzle of the bottle between six to eight inches from the surface and try to avoid missing any patches. Allow the foam to sit on the surface for a few minutes and then wipe off with a wet sponge or cloth.

One of the many benefits of Clorox bathroom cleaner is that the foam is thick and sticks even to vertical surfaces in the bathroom. This makes cleaning shower walls, doors and even the backsplash on sinks simple and easy.

Using the fine sprayer adjustment is a great way to shoot the cleaner just where you need it, even around the base of toilets or behind taps and drains. Keeping even the unseen parts of the bathroom mold and mildew free is important to prevent it from spreading.

A new variety of Clorox bathroom cleaner now comes with Teflon that is designed to minimize the amount of substances that stick to the surfaces of the bathroom. With use the Teflon does prevent mold and mildew growth as well as minimizing soap residue and hard water grime that adheres to the shower surfaces.

When using Clorox bathroom cleaner with Teflon be sure to have a fan circulating air and prevent using it in closed or confined spaces without appropriate ventilation.
